Brilliance Inc. was founded by San Francisco Bay Area motivational speaker, executive coach, writer, and trainer, Denise Green. The author of Conversations for Brilliance and other popular e-books on communications and corporate dynamics, Denise has an insider’s view on the effectiveness of teams and the impact of distinct leadership styles. For over 15 years, Denise held senior positions with Oracle and Charles Schwab. Her clients have included PayPal, Salesforce, Kaiser Permanente, and other leaders from the high-tech, financial services, healthcare, and consumer products sectors.
Much of Denise’s inspiration for helping others to overcome obstacles in their lives, comes from overcoming her own. After a life-changing car accident, she sustained a broken back and other injuries so severe that her doctors called her “incurable.” When gripped by a crippling autoimmune disease several years later, she once again rose above seemingly insurmountable obstacles not only to recover, but to lead a full and rewarding life.
As a Keynote Speaker, Denise is known for her dynamic storytelling, her warmth, and her ability to quickly build rapport with audiences. “Transformative,” “enlightening,” and “masterful,” are just some of the words that fans of Denise use to describe her keynotes and workshops, which frequently earn her standing ovations and enthusiastic requests for return visits.
Denise holds an Honors undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and the University of Paris Sorbonne, as well as a Masters from Stanford University and a Professional Coaching Certification from ICF-accredited New Ventures West. Her home is in vibrant Oakland, in California’s East Bay, where she enjoys hiking, eclectic dining, jazz, and spending time with her daughter, friends, and loyal dog Ralph.
