They combined their passion for coaching with their expertise in business, management, instructional design, and adult learning to create services that give managers the tools to evoke truly brilliant results.

Denise is a coach, facilitator, speaker, and writer with deep experience in leadership development. Denise is committed to improving the corporate world one leader at a time. She partners with clients to increase their ability to communicate, relate, and create high levels of engagement and commitment. She is passionate about helping leaders bring more ease, grace, and satisfaction to all aspects of their lives.

Before starting Brilliance Inc. with Heather, Denise spent over 13 years inside Corporate America first at Oracle Corporation then Charles Schwab and Co., Inc., building pragmatic, powerful programs that got results. Her last corporate role was Executive Coach and Director of Leadership and Management Development in Information Technology at Charles Schwab and Co., Inc.

Denise holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French from Arizona State University (summa cum laude), a certificate from the University of Paris Sorbonne, and a Master of Liberal Arts from Stanford University. She is a New Ventures West- certified Coach. She is certified in FIRO-B, Fierce Communications, The Influence Edge, The Lumi Company Strategic Manager Series, The Extraordinary Leader 360, PDI, DDI, and others.

Denise integrates life experiences as a team-member, manager, entrepreneur, mother, accident-and-injury survivor, Mid-Westerner, Europhile, dog-lover, learning- junkie, and human being. She relies on strengths that include: compassion, wit, flexibility, pragmatism, optimism, quick-thinking, and creativity.

Heather Andersen

Heather is an executive coach and facilitator specializing in effective communication and leadership development. She brings a decade of expertise to her work with managers, teams and individuals. Many of Heather’s clients are leaders who have transitioned into a new position or taken on a higher level of responsibility. She partners with client to help them leverage their strengths, engage in more powerful conversations, develop key relationships and take confident action to excel in their new role.

Heather has coached and consulted with a wide range of Fortune 500 clients including the IT, Financial Services, Consumer Products and Manufacturing sectors. With a background in cross cultural consulting she brings extensive international business experience to her work with individuals and teams and has particularly deep knowledge and experience in India.

Heather holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of New Hampshire, and an MSBA in International Business from San Francisco State University. She is a New Ventures West-certified Coach. She is certified in NLP, FIRO-B, Highlands Ability Battery, and Bar-On’s EQ-i. Heather serves on the board of the Professional Coaches Mentor’s Association (PCMA).
